Art is a window through which I see the world and let the world find the deepest areas of my mind and express the thoughts that often remain unsaid. I specialise in creating artworks for a variety of spaces. While designing a project, I ensure it aligns with the ethos and identity of the space. I partner with architects to understand their space function and then work over the layers. I strive to create a sanguine ambiance where ‘form and space’ meet ‘design and class’.

As a child, my teacher encouraged me to stay “curious and creative” and thus I am. I often find myself immersed in photography and travel while I also enjoy gardening, teaching, reading and dancing.

My family believes in service and philanthropy. We organise blood donation drives, activities for children with special needs, and support animal welfare.

My work is my way of life, we evolve together.

SAARC Artist Camp

In 2012, I had the privilege of representing India at the prestigious SAARC Art Camp in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The theme for the event was ‘Nature and Art at its best’, allowing young artists to not only showcase their talents but also explore the breathtaking landscapes of Sri Lanka and exchange experiences and knowledge with fellow participants.

The event brought together 28 artists from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Maldives, and Sri Lanka. The Artists Camp and Exhibition of Paintings took place from June 7 to June 10 at Waters Edge in Battaramulla, with the concluding exhibition held at the J. D. A. Perera Gallery. It was a remarkable opportunity to engage with diverse artistic expressions and create lasting connections in the international art community.

Our goal is to create awareness, educate, and ultimately foster the creation of safe spaces for women.

Spread your Red

Rotary Bangalore TTK Blood Bank and Dentsu India Group collaborated on a public service initiative to promote blood donation awareness. The campaign aimed to encourage individuals to voluntarily donate blood and contribute to saving lives. As a result of this initiative, an impressive number of 316 donors registered on the very same day, and within the following three months, a remarkable 3,640 individuals came forward to register as blood donors. The success of this campaign highlights the positive impact of art in raising awareness and fostering a culture of voluntary blood donation.

Interactive Art installation at Karnataka Government Museum of Archaeology

The concept of interactive art installations in public spaces that collect visual data offers unique opportunities to understand preferences, backgrounds, and thought processes. At an archaeological museum, this installation gathers insights into a visitor’s perspective and background. Incorporating interactive elements allows visitors to actively participate and provide information, enhancing the museum experience and understanding visitor demographics. Similarly, at a TEDx event by NMIMS, this installation can delve into attendees’ thought processes through simple thought-provoking activities and capturing responses. Non-intrusive and engaging, these installations foster participation and collect valuable data for research, user experience enhancement, and generating insights. Ultimately, these art installations serve as platforms to connect with people in meaningful ways.

Neha’s plus point in her creative works is the clarity in her thinking process as depicted in her entire body of work. Her sketches and drawings of sculptures
are bold and well composed and stand on their own merit.

The art world can expect more interesting works from Neha Mehta in the coming years.

I really like the honesty of Neha Mehta’s way of working. The same honesty which I see in her way of living. She believes that nature and art have a powerful role to play in our life and thinks that an artist has a strong responsibility, as artist and as a human being. Often her work, drawings, paintings, sculptures are a series of works evolving one after the other. In a dynamic way. As dynamic are her kinetic sculptures, where movement and equilibrium are linked to give you a feeling of serenity. Her works are search of peace and grace.

Neha did a great job in understanding our requirements – the ethos and pathos we wanted behind each trophy.
Her design had the DNA helix rest on a hexagonal symmetrical base showcasing the core values reflective of both our organization and the ecosystem as a whole. Forged in bronze, each trophy was handcrafted with precision that celebrated the dichotomy of symmetry and asymmetry. Over the years, the trophy has become something that the winners proudly display in their awards showcases. Her understanding of design, shapes, and structural integrity (from her craft as a sculptor) is something that she brought seamlessly into the design of our trophy and truly made it one of a kind and made her a great partner to work with.

My husband and I are travel enthusiasts and we were looking for something ingenious in our home that could capture our wanderlust. Neha came up with a number of imaginative options which really spoilt us for choice! The painting she created is stunning and occupies a central place in our home, and is a superb trigger point for many thought provoking conversations transporting us to fantastic lands near and far. The entire process and of course the end product more than met our expectations and we would happily recommend collaborating with Neha to translate your dreams and ideas into wonderful art forms.

Zinnov Trophy Design

A trophy designed, conceptualized and made to embody the company's value system. The six values form the DNA of the company which is unique to ZINNOV. This DNA goes through a time evolution, time when the company is at its peak and otherwise. But its strength lies in its values that ensures growth/survival. The structure is composed geometrically and aligned to the letter ‘Z’. The pyramid on top is larger than the base denoting- there is always more time, more space and more material for innovation and evolution. A representation of infinite time, its crystallization and progress.Every component of this trophy is crafted and fabricated by hand.

Design for NSRCEL, IIMB

Signifying balance and change, this kinetic sculpture intends to portray the brilliance of magnifying one's ideas. The unique design allows for multiple magnifications of a light source to create dynamic patterns of light and shadow. Learning spaces such as NSRCEL-IIM emulate this effect with great minds as their light source. Despite the constant flux of people and events in the courtyard, the stillness of the work invokes serenity while its dynamism gives evolution a chance.
